Pop Up's and Takeovers
My culinary journey has taken me from Melbourne to Sydney to Sri Lanka, hosting unforgettable dining experiences and workshops that celebrate flavor, heritage, and storytelling.
In Melbourne, I joined forces with Laura Foo for Third Culture Cravings, a sold-out baking collaboration blending Sri Lankan and Singaporean influences into nostalgic sweet treats. In Sydney, I brought a slice of home to Kurumba, curating a bold, spice-driven menu that showcased the versatility and depth of Sri Lankan cuisine.
Back in Sri Lanka, I hosted two incredible pop-ups — one at Uncles Colombo and another at Hotel de Uncles Ahangama — where I combined traditional techniques with modern ideas, celebrating the island’s rich food culture in new and exciting ways.
Beyond pop-ups, I’ve also had the privilege of leading hands-on workshops. Together with Andrea from Green Gourmet, we hosted an immersive cooking experience that celebrated sustainability and mindful eating. I also collaborated with the Adelaide Council on a special workshop, sharing the vibrant flavors of Sri Lankan cuisine while connecting with the local community through food.
